Clearances

What do I do if I need clearance for the use of any of your products on a TV or film set?

You need to contact the licensing department by email or fax with the following information:

• Product codes in full and product description
• Production company name
• TV / Film title
• Contact name, address, telephone and fax number (including dialling codes)
• Deadline for clearance required
• Purpose of use

We can only provide clearance for product being used as part of a production set and not for marketing or reproduction purposes.

What is the next stage?

We will complete a Pyramid clearance form and fax it back to you. This form allows universal clearance in perpetuity. We are unable to fill in other companies’ clearance templates.

Artwork

What do I do if I have some artwork that I would like to be considered for licensing?

As market leaders we are always looking for the next "big thing" whether photographic, design, humour, or any image that might make a good poster. Pyramid International welcome any new artwork and ideas and are always looking to expand our range. We ask that you send a sample of the artwork by recorded delivery through to:

On sending artwork we do ask that you do not send originals but copies (unless agreed beforehand) because we will not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Your submission we then be reviewed internally and comments fed back to you.

How are usage fees negotiated?

If we are interested in using your artwork we will either offer a flat usage fee or discuss a contract term, this may include an advance and a royalty % paid on the sales generated over the term of the agreement.

Royalties

How often are royalty reports constructed?

Royalty reports are produced on a quarterly basis through the year. Our in-house system allows us to email out a concise and legible excel report to our licensors.

How would I go about licensing a generic Pyramid design for a bedspread or jigsaw puzzle for example?
