Self-taught artist Jane Bannon specialises in charming watercolours of farmyard and domestic animals. Painting has always played a significant part in her life, and after a career in insurance Jane finally decided to dedicate herself full time to art. She has found this to be a fantastic journey and each of her days is different. She is happiest when painting an animal, capturing and conveying its deepest thoughts to the viewer. Jane now lives in a listed cottage in the conservation area of the beautiful market town of Bungay, Suffolk. She can be found most days on Outney Common, walking her dogs Bella & Bertie. The cows who live in the fields opposite her home provide an endless source of inspiration, along with the many local dogs she sees on her daily walks!
